Thanksgiving Potluck 2018

The twins’ last Thanksgiving potluck was so sweet! I brought Meredith along with me and split my time between both Samantha and Amelia’s rooms since I’m the Room Mom for both. Fortunately, we had lots of moms sign up to help serve the food this time, so it was one of the more relaxed potlucks!

Heating up the dishes parents dropped off, making sure every class had the right dishes and serving it up to dozens of little preschoolers asking for more rolls every five seconds was energy-draining. I don’t know how the preschool/kinder teachers do it all day!

Saying hello to Samantha’s class:

Meredith was so excited to have a place of honor at the head of the table with Samantha. Look at those pilgrim hats! Toward the end, Meredith was starting to get annoying, with the poor kid next to her complaining that she was touching his leg and stealing his food, so I had to threaten her with sitting outside the class. She was the most stressful part of the potluck!

After all the moms had sampled the food, we cleaned up and I headed out early with the girls. We hosted Great Grandpa for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner since we were out of town on actual Thanksgiving, so the girls definitely got their fill of Thanksgiving food that day!

Stuffed, we headed out on our Maui adventure the next morning!

Lots of love,
