Easter Festivities

I don’t have much to say about all the Easter activities the twins went to this year, since I wasn’t around for most of them. While I always enjoy peaceful mornings with Meredith, I missed being with the girls for our usual activities.

Grandma and Grandpa were in town for the girls’ birthday and took them to the annual Moms of Multiples Club Bunny Breakfast, while Jake took charge the rest of the month.

Thanks for taking us, Grammy and Grandpa!IMG_4514 IMG_4518 IMG_4512  IMG_4506

Jake went with the girls to our local Easter egg “hunt” and prepped the girls beforehand on competitive egg collecting.

Surprise, surprise! Samantha declined to sit by the Easter bunny without Daddy by her side. Note Amelia’s ladylike leg-crossing pose.

Amelia was the only one brave enough to sit solo last year, too!

Even with Daddy, Samantha sat for a picture against her will.

Same deal last year!

For the first year, the girls were old enough to try out the bungy. I was highly entertained receiving all the pictures Jake texted me while I was home with Meredith!IMG_3457

The one Easter-related activity I actually made it to this year was a little hunt Amy organized for some of our neighborhood friends. Nate looks a little outnumbered!

Not as many friends last year, but we still had fun. All the girls have grown so much.

Amelia and Samantha were so sweet helping Quincy find some eggs… IMG_4573

…After running around like crazy collecting the majority of the eggs for themselves first, that is.IMG_4563   Proof Meredith was there for her first neighborhood Easter egg hunt! IMG_4578 (1)

Lots of love,
