We made it to Utah, slightly crazed and cranky from lack of sleep, but otherwise in one piece. Thanks to leaving at 2 a.m., the girls slept eight out of ten hours of the trip…can’t complain about that!
When the girls were up, they were ecstatic to take a break and get out of the car, despite the freezing weather.
A blanket of snow greeted us when we arrived at Grandpa and Grandma’s house. Looks like it will be a White Christmas!

Even with a gate protecting the tree, the girls have been obsessed with pulling themselves up and trying to swat ornaments/eat pine needles.
This makes me sad.
